Our students enjoyed a fabulous field trip last week! π
The morning started off at the Jubilee Auditorium with a presentation from The Robb Nash Project. What a powerful performance! πππ»
Robb uses humor, storytelling and music to share his message about mental health and being able to overcome lifeβs obstacles.
He inspires us to recognize our own worth and to become significant in the lives of others.
Thank you to Soul Sisters Memorial Foundation for getting our students and staff seats to the show. π
We then went on a short outside tour of the University of Alberta grounds; thank you to Mrs. Wallace for showing us points of interest. We got to enjoy a delicious lunch in one of the campus food courts.
We spent the afternoon at Norquest College having our own personalized and private meeting and tour of the college.
The students learned what programs are offered, as well as the basic entry requirements. They left the college feeling inspired and excited about their future. π
Thank you to a generous citizen in our community, who donated the cost of bussing for this field trip. We are so grateful. β€οΈ
